Welcome...

Sadly, church hurt is a reality often left unacknowledged and unaddressed. It can leave its victims reluctant to reengage in church, fearful of being hurt again, and potentially even doubting their faith or Christianity as a whole.  If you are struggling with church hurt, we are so very sorry.

We understand the anguish of church hurt can seem unbearable, and the path forward challenging to find.  But there is Hope and a way, and we are here to walk alongside you.

"My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen on me. Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me. I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. ...  If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide.  But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers." Psalm 55:4-6, 12-14

Facilitators:

Hope Ministry Church Hurt Support is currently offered privately rather than in a group setting. Meeting privately will enable our facilitators to give more focused attention to listening to and encouraging you as you work through the hurt you have experienced.

We have men to meet with men, women to meet with with women, and couples available to meet with couples if desired.

Our facilitators have a variety of experiences with church hurt and we will prayerfully work to match you with the facilitator best equipped to support you in your journey.
