Know What You Believe, led by Don Reed and Dr. George Foust.  Room S203.  Cost: $5. Text by Paul E. Little.

Why is it that so many people are falling away from the God of the Bible today, and why are so many churches closing their doors?  Could it be that many people don't really understand what the Christian faith teaches about God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit?  This is an important question because the world around us needs to understand what the Bible teaches about Satan and demons, and the role of Scripture and Church in my life.  Ultimately, since we are living sent to make disciples, we need to answer the question:  "How can I serve and grow closer to the living God in this dark culture?"

We hope you are able to join Dr. George Foust and Don Reed as they teach through one of the best-known books on apologetics: Know What You Believe by Paul E. Little.  Get ready to be challenged to learn and grow! We hope to see you there.

1 & 2 Thessalonians: Living in Light of Christ's Return, led by Adam Landers. Room S202. Cost: $5.  Text by Warren Wiersbe.

The Thessalonian Church was struggling with an unbalanced approach to the Second Coming.  While they eagerly awaited Christ's return, many believers were placing more value on their future hope than on people's current needs.  Paul addressed this concern with a message that still resonates today.  This study examines Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians and shares the need for a church that is focused on both heaven and earth.

Church History, Part I,  led by Brian Schneider. Room S103-S104. Cost: $10. Text by Justo Gonzalez.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the Church after the death of the last apostle in 90 AD? Wondered how we got the Bible?  Wondered why we practice our faith the way we do?  Wondered why do we believe the way we do?  Then this is the class for you!  This fall, MZBC will host Church History, Part I, with Part 2 offered in the spring.  Part 1 looks at the early church from 90 AD to 1500 AD (the Protestant Reformation, in case you forgot!).  Part 2 will take us from 1500 to today.  So bring your questions and your curiosity, and let's walk through church history together!

Adult Sunday School

Sunday morning Bible study for adults at MZBC is all about life transformation! As we study the Bible, our minds are informed through the teaching of God’s Word, our hearts are transformed into the character of God’s ways, and through application our lives are conformed to His image.
