Girls in Action (GA’s) Girls Grades 1- 6
Each week girls in grades 1-6 and their leaders take a trip
to different parts of the world as they learn about missions
and missionaries. The goal of GA’s is to instill a lifelong
passion for praying, giving, and doing missions. See
www.gapassport.com
for more details about GA’s in general. Each summer our
girls attend GA Camp at Worldsong, a WMU owned camp near
Leeds, AL.
As girls complete “World Ventures” and other mission work,
they are recognized at an annual recognition service. The

Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) Boys grades 1- 6
Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is a Bible-centered, church-based,
Southern Baptist mission education organization for boys in
grades 1-6. The RA Motto, "We are Ambassadors for Christ,"
is taken from 2 Corinthians 5:20 and is not only the basis
for their name but also provides the basis for teaching boys
a lifestyle of missions. We use weekly meetings, lessons,
games, camping trips, sports, crafts, lock-in, special
events and projects to teach this lifestyle. A good
definition of RA’s would be “Cub Scouts on Missions”. We use
all of our activities to find that “teachable moment” and
spiritual application. Come join us on Wednesday nights from
6:45 to 7:30 pm in the student portables. |

gathering for Acteens and Acteen Camp at WorldSong Missions

Challengers- Young men, grades 7 – 12
Challengers is for boys 7th – 9th grade. The focus of
Challengers is to take the mission knowledge gained in the
RA program and focus on mission projects. Challengers lead
out in various mission projects to develop skills of
practical service for Christ. They learn about the many
opportunities Southern Baptists have to be involved in
missions, both career and volunteer. From participating in
the various missions activities at Mt. Zion and
participating in local, national and international mission
activities, Challengers is a hands-on approach to learning
about missions. Challengers meet once a month (second
Thursday) at 6:30 PM, upstairs in the CMC building.

Baptist Men on Mission
Mission Education for men exists to encourage the spiritual
transformation of "regular" Christian men into on-mission
Christian men using Mission Education organizations,
resources, strategies, and events. Mission Education is
designed to awaken Christian men to personal involvement in
the Great Commission, help them make adjustments that allow
them to actively join God on mission, and grow to be
passionate advocates for worldwide mission causes.

Women on Mission
Women on Mission for women ages 18 and up will equip
Christian women to follow God’s call into missions’
awareness, action and advocacy. To accommodate today’s busy
woman, we offer several different groups for women to
fellowship, pray together and serve together. Women on
Mission groups meet once a month, each group on a specific
day and at a specific time.
We invite you to join us as we meet together to become more
aware of how we can serve our Lord and how we can share His
hope with a lost world.

WMU
In 1888 a handful of Baptist Women dedicated to the cause of
missions founded WMU. Since that time, WMU has become the
largest Protestant organization for women in the world, with
a membership of approximately 1 million.
Mount Zion has deep roots in WMU as well, forming their own
WMU in 1914. We continue that tradition today with many
age-level mission organizations. These organizations include
Women on Mission, Girls of Grace Acteens, Girls in Action
and Mission Friends.
