AWANA
A Great Learning
Experience for Children Age 3- 6th Grade
Sunday Nights 5:00pm - 7:00pm
The Awana
Club is split into three segments which provide start - to - finish
adventure for every club meeting. Each has a purpose.
GAME TIME:
Every Awana Club
meeting includes a high-energy Game Time featuring individual and
team competition. Game Time unleashes kids natural energy and
enthusiasm. The Awana Game circle has universal appeal. Kids
everywhere love Awana games and best of all, everyone participates.
HANDBOOK TIME:
Using
achievement-oriented curriculum materials. Awana emphasizes
memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With trained
leaders alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a
Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are rewarded
for their achievements as they progress through the handbooks.
COUNCIL TIME:
The whole club
gathers for a Bible Message, singing, and announcements of upcoming
events. It is a great time for the clubbers to relax and learn about
missionaries, key Bible stories or key passages from scripture.
WHEN WE MEET:
Awana begins
meeting in the middle of August and continues through the end of
May. We meet on Sunday Nights from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
